PSV won the Dutch Cup on penalties against Ajax

PSV Eindhoven won the 11th Dutch Cup on Sunday of their history by defeating Ajax Amsterdam 3-2 on penalties, after the tie (1-1) was not broken at the end of extra time.

Ajax dominated the game thanks to a goal against his goal the English defender Jarrad Branthwaite (minute 43) until the Belgian Thorgan Hazard, who came from the bench in the 59th minute, equalized the game for PSV (67).

As no team achieved victory during the 90 regulatory minutes or during extra time, the final was decided on penalties.

Ajax could only score two of their attemptss, one less than PSV, which wins the Cup for the second consecutive year.
