Two extreme segments, older adults and youth, verified massive turnout at the start of the electoral process that began at 7 am. The high participation, according to the TSJE, could border 70% of the register.
One edge of the high turnout that occurred since the beginning of the elections was the massive concurrence also of the segments of older adults and youth. Of both, likewise, the tendency of the former was that they mobilized from the early hours, while there was a large presence of young people from 10 a.m. onwards, depending on it another wave of voters was verified that filled many locals.
In the fringe of older adults was noticed in many districtssome who carried chairs, to hold the long lines that formed to vote at the tables.
The youth vote, for its part, implied as a highlight the fact that there are more than 300,000 new voters from the elections that take place this Sunday. It is estimated that a significant volume of voters emerge from this nucleus, which explains the high turnout.
The massive concurrence of older adults also projected the version that it was the variable that in many polling places, they register delays in casting votes.
