In a civic-military-police union, the people of Venezuela continue in peace and democracy, and with the same President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, on Sunday, April 30, the fourth anniversary of the triumph of the people in the face of the new coup attempt. State of 2019 by part of the right.
The statement was made by the first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, who led a visit this Sunday to the distribution of Altamira, together with popular power, revolutionary leaders and state authorities, on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the triumph of the people before a new coup attempt against the Constitutional President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
“Good morning Venezuela, we have the same president, comrade Nicolás Maduro Moros. Four years ago the monster wanted to give the Venezuelan people an early start,” Cabello stressed during the act staged in Altamira.
It should be remembered that on April 30, 2019, an attempted coup d’état took place in the Altamira distributor in which members of the fascist right-wing tried to overthrow President Nicolás Maduro and was marked by the so-called “Operation Libertad”, which gave rise to for the escape of the fugitive from justice Leopoldo López.
“That day the traitors thought it would be easy to overthrow the Bolivarian Revolution, they thought it was easy to free a cowardly murderer (Leopoldo López), come to a bridge and say: ‘You’re lying down, Nicolás, and now it’s our turn.’ Their joy did not last long because they were defeated in a few hours by the people loyal to their homeland, ”he said.
They are the same as always
He explained that those who led the actions of that April 30, 2019 “are the same ones who today say that they are going to put violence aside and now they want to go down the electoral route. For years they called for abstention, blackmail and those who unleashed violence for not recognizing the election of President Nicolás Maduro”.
“They are the same ones who today take off their fascist shirts and present themselves as Democrats,” he emphasized.
In this sense, he stressed that “fascism has no scruples, it has no friends, it is just as we imagine it, it is capable of harming even its own people. In that battle on April 30, a group of traitors thought it was easy to overthrow the Bolivarian Revolution.”
Faced with these repeated claims by the right, the First Vice President of the PSUV remarked: “They will not govern this country again, that people who have resisted sanctions and blockades, but who have reached a very high level of consciousness.”
The loyal ones faced the monster
For Cabello, the important thing is to highlight that the monster (the fascist right) has been confronted by Popular Power and its loyalty to the Bolivarian Revolution.
“Our people went to the streets, to Miraflores to defend Nicolás Maduro and the Bolivarian Revolution. The loyalists went to the streets to fight and face the monster, ”he reiterated.
Likewise, he stressed that “we love freedom and freedom is not negotiated with anything or for nothing, freedom is a value that this people has in their blood.”
The National Directorate of the PSUV, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), security forces and Popular Power participated in the event this Sunday, to commemorate the four years of the 2019 coup attempt, executed by Juan Guaidó before the frustration of not having internal recognition after his self-proclamation, on January 23 of that year.
