The President Pedro Castillo presented, tonight, his new ministerial cabinet, chaired by Aníbal Torres, and Diana Miriam Miloslavich Tupac was sworn in as new Minister for Women and Vulnerable Populations.
The new head of the MIMP will take office after Katy Ugarte, who was announced together with the former president of the Council of Ministers, Hector Vale.

Miloslavich studied at the Professional School of Literature of the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences, at the National University of San Marcos. (UNMSM); and has been coordinator of the Political Participation Program of the Center for Peruvian Women Flora Tristan for more than 30 years.
“(I swear) by the Rights of women in their diversities and for their 25 years of struggle in the Ministry of Women”, he said at his swearing-in.
The new minister for women is also feminist and defender of women’s rights. In this sense, she has made several publications addressing the vindication of women in society and is the author of the book “María Elena Moyano”.
In addition, Miloslavich has been a guest columnist for The Republic, where he published his column “Parity and alternation now”.

Rejection to Valer
A few days ago, the former president of the Council of Ministers, Héctor Valer, came out to answer the complaints against him for physical abuse of his daughter and his statements were not well received by the new Minister for Women, who did not hesitate to condemn his attitude and stated that the congressman Democratic Peru was not aware that what he did is a crime.
“It’s bad. He has even made his Facebook account public; putting it at risk now that we are experiencing cyber attacks on social networks. He has exposed her. Not only has he revictimized her, he himself has accepted that in some way he has called her attention and has also shown that he has done it so that she is a good doctor. It seems to me that this man is not aware that what he has done is a crime, and then he has also questioned everything the system that has taken almost 40 years to build in our country: the Judiciary, the police stations…”, Miloslavich pointed out.
