Panama will host the most prestigious amateur talent competition in the world, such as the Karaoke World Championship. In an interview with Radio Panama, Valerie Monique Troncoso provided details of this important international event.
During the 21st edition of the KWC, our country will be the host, thus completing a cycle, since since 2009, Panama has been participating in this event worldwide and by 2023, we will have to see talented singers parade. who come to represent more than 30 countries.
Finland is the only country that has had representation since 2003, the place where Luca Gargano, International producer of the Karaoke World Championships (KWC), resides, who already visited our country in November 2022.
KWC is an extraordinary opportunity for aspiring singers to showcase their talents to the world. Panama has already achieved three gold medals in the solo category and in the last competition that was held in Norway in August of last year, we reached first place in the duet category.
This year the prize will be double, since the national production announced that of the four soloists who will represent us, whoever achieves the highest score after the 2023 world champion, will automatically be designated as one of the representatives of Panama who will travel to the host country in 2024.
