Two members of a criminal group that operates in El Guarataro, San Juan parish, Caracas, were killed in police proceedings.
In the Mata Palo sector, of the aforementioned Caracas sector, agents of the Bolivarian National Police killed a subject identified as Yorwin Guzmán, alias El Jala.
This person had recorded a video where he is seen lying on a bed displaying a firearm and an explosive device. They presume that El Jala belongs to a criminal structure that operates in El Guarataro, commanded by alias Jean Carlos.
Precisely another member of that organization was killed by Cicpc agents on San Martín avenue, Caracas. In this case, the deceased was registered as Leiber Arcángel Alarcón (20), to whom the Cicpc attributes the murders of Luis Alfredo Arteaga Partidas (36), Juliana Carolina Blanco Márquez (36) and Youskeiber Eleandro Flores (28).
The three murders occurred between February and March in El Guarataro, according to the Cicpc.
