Eight tons of liquid methamphetamine were seized inside tequila bottles in Mexico

The Mexican authorities seized just over eight tons of liquid methamphetamine that were hidden in tequila bottles in the port of Manzanillo.

This operation was carried out by the Mexican Navy with the use of trained dogs when inspecting a container to later make a chemical identification that gave a positive result for methamphetamine.

In total there were 11,520 bottles of tequila that were going to be exported, what was seized was taken to a laboratory of the Mexican Navy.
