Roy Daza, member of the Permanent Commission on Foreign Policy of the National Assembly (AN), referred this Wednesday to the points reached at the International Conference on the political process in Venezuela held in Bogotá, Colombia.

“The mere fact of the meeting is positive, evidencing that the dialogue policy of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, has a very wide audience, 20 countries from three continents and an activity like that is not easy, a level of foreign ministers is very important,” he said.

In this sense, he highlighted that among the delegations that sat down in Colombia, there was the United States (USA), as well as South Africa, considered “one of the countries with the greatest weight in the African continent.”

On the other hand, he stressed that it is an essential issue in these conversations, “for the Venezuelan, for the person who goes to work, for the boy who goes to school or to the university, it is how we seek by way of an agreement politician, that the sanctions against our country be lifted”.

“But in this conference an important step was taken, it is positive, although it is only a process where Venezuela won and is doing well with the average,” he added.

It should be remembered that, this Tuesday, the 20 delegations that met in Colombia They urged the lifting of sanctions, as well as compliance with the agreements reached in Mexico.
