Presentation of “Moments in a century of Cuban radio”

The book “Moments in a century of Cuban radio”, by Avelino Víctor Couceiro Rodríguez will be presented this Wednesday, April 26, at 3:00 pm, at the Fayad Jamís Bookstore in Old Havana.

At the meeting, the author will talk with the journalist and critic Fernando Rodríguez Sosa about his text that compiles 80 articles from the last six years that were published on various websites of Cuban radio and other cultural institutions in the country.

According to its own author, the pages of his book address “with more or less emphasis on the many aspects of Cuban radio culture: stations, creators in different specialties, public reception in different communities of the country, among other topics…” .

Avelino Víctor Couceiro Rodríguez has a PhD in Art Sciences, a degree in Art History and in General History. In addition, he is a Researcher and Full Professor at the University of Havana and author of numerous articles and 27 books published in a dozen countries.

When: Wednesday April 26, 3:00 p.m.

Where: Fayad Jamís Bookstore. Calle Obispo 261 between Cuba and Aguiar, Old Havana.
