The union of primary education workers joins the strike against the pension reform

The National Administration of Public Education (ANEP) issued a statement stating that the school feeding it will be covered this tuesdaydespite the day of strike called by the PIT-CNT.
“In the open schools of all areas will be offered regular dining service“, reports the ANEP statement.
However, “in closed schools in the interior, each jurisdiction will determine the authorized venues for the delivery of an emergency menu or food,” the statement added.
In closed schools in the departments of Montevideo and Canelones, The food will be delivered from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the following in the points marked by ANEP in its Twitter account.

This Tuesday the Uruguayan Federation of Teachers and Workers of Public Education (Fum-tep) will join the PIT-CNT strike against pension reform.
The trade union central called a 24-hour national strike with mobilization at 4:00 p.m. in front of the Legislative Palace, while the pension reform is approved in the Chamber of Deputies.
