Gilberto Giménez: conference in Colombia allows renewing multilateral spaces

“That the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, continues advancing in the incorporation of Venezuela in bilateral relations allows the balance in the economic and political balance with our nation,” said the representative of the Foreign Policy, Sovereignty and Integration Commission of the National Assembly (AN), Gilberto Giménez, during his participation in the program coffee in the morning.

In his opinion, he refers that the International Conference on the political process in Venezuela, to be held this April 25, is an example to demonstrate “that the fact that there are differences between governments, there is no reason to break relations with countries in the region. The idea is to renew these multilateral spaces in order to strengthen the alliances that already exist, such as Unasur”.

Likewise, the AN deputy said that we must continue to mark the presence of Venezuela on the international stage. “We are a benchmark whether they like it or not and we are making important changes in all areas,” he said.
