During the morning of this Tuesday, February 8, Colombia woke up with a new natural tragedy that has an entire community in suspense and in mourning. The situation that arose today was generated after several hours of rain that triggered a mountain slide in Dosquebradas, Risaralda.
In the area there had already been alerted by the risk that there was because it could come off and finally collapsed.
Rushing over several houses and that until noon today, according to balances, at least 11 people were registered dead and 28 injured.
Due to the situation, they had to evacuate more than 30 houses in the sector, as a result of the constant rains and the fact that the land continues to fall.

And it is that to all these evacuation tasks, search for bodies and injured people, there have also been moments of hope of animals that were literally snatched from death.
One of these cases was captured by a person who was in the sector and celebrated having found the pet of one of the inhabitants of the area alive.
The dog was trembling, cold and with his eyes that showed the fear he felt for the situation that had happened.
Those who rescued him took him out on a board, covered him with a blanket and then transferred them to a shelter where they are being treated.

They are serving them for free.
About the owners of the dog it has not been possible to know if it was any of the families or people who perished in the place, if it was one of the rescuers or the animal lived in the streets of the sector.
