Florencia Bertotti: “I did not expect to receive so much love”

19 years ago Floricienta was all the rage on television, but no one imagined that after all those years, Flor Bertotti, came to the city with a show and thus be able to revive songs like Yellow Flowers, Tic Tac or My Blue Dress.

The Argentine actress and singer arrived in the city three days in advance, she interacted with her audience, she was supervising the set up of the show that he gave on Saturday night at the Real Santa Cruz stadium and was very simple and accessible with the fans who asked her for a greeting or a photo.

Florencia confesses that she never imagined being received by the people of Santa Cruz with such affection, an affection that was demonstrated again in the concert of more than an hour and a half and that she offered along with more than 10 dancers on stage.

I sing songs that everyone knows, the ones by Floricienta, the ones that are in our hearts, my songs, from my new album, also songs from programs that I did, because I write songs”, details ‘Flor’, as her followers prefer to call her.

I did not expect it, at all, to come back and feel this welcome, that affection, that love, I was surprised. I did know that I was well received at the time, but so many years later, I did not expect such love.

-What do you say to those people who continue to give away yellow flowers?

‘Yellow flowers’ is one of Floricienta’s most popular themes and one of the character’s dreams is to be given flowers of that color)

You saw that yellow flowers do not go out of style, they come back and come back. I tell them I love it, it’s an icon of love and I’m very flattered when they are inspired by yellow flowers.

-Does your son follow in your footsteps in terms of acting and music?

I only have one, and he is zero TV, zero music, he wants nothing at all.

-Apart from television, you are also a youtuber, with your cooking page?

I became a youtuber, I discovered that cooking is not my thing, but if I upload videos, I tell you that I cook for a supermarket in Argentina, and I tell you I don’t know how they hired me to cook (laughs). There is something about non-professionalism with cooking that empathizes a lot with people, many times we take a recipe and it turns out to be a disaster, that is the most genuine thing that happens to me, I am not an expert, but I have to feed my family (laughs).

-Have you tried something typical of the city?

Of course, poor typical food here.

-What have you been doing all these days in Santa Cruz?

I had fan meetings, I had rehearsals, we finished putting on the show and we went over everything we presented on stage. We always want the show to always be impeccable.

-What do you say to your fans who continue to accompany you many years after Floricienta?

That I will always receive them with an open heart and that this show has been an incomparable night for them, because I will keep it in my heart.
