Martin Torrijos carries out a work tour in the province of Los Santos

Former president and presidential candidate Martín Torrijos made a work tour in the province of Los Santos, where he highlighted the importance of modernizing State institutions and betting on new technologies to have a greater impact on production.

“I am talking and sharing their problems with producers at the national level so that together we can find out what we are going to do to improve agriculture,” said former President Torrijos.

During his visit to the province of Los Santos, Torrijos met with milk producers from El Higo, in the district of Macaracas; he visited the pig farm “Hacienda Lourdes”; he participated in a meeting with leaders of the Popular Party in the district of Las Tablas; and concluded with a visit to salt workers from that province.

Torrijos expressed the importance of cooperatives in order to develop more efficiently and participate in solving their problems by participating with the government.
