At least 409 investigations, conducted the National Limited Telephone Company of Venezuela (Cantv)in the first quarter of 2023, and 73 disciplinary measures were applied against workers, for participating in irregular collection acts during installation and reconnection of telecommunications services.
The investigation management of the corporation, attached to the General Management of Integral Security, verified irregular acts motivated by personal profit through the repair of breakdowns, changes in lines and changes in Aba plans, payment modalities and service holders.
According to a press release, the Company continues to work throughout the country in order to prevent the incidence of these irregular acts through information campaigns. “If they charge you tell me”permanent plan of inspections in the telephone exchanges, daily meetings with the workers and talks for the organized communities.
The company urges users to make complaints through the WhatsApp number 0426-5329171, and recalls that no worker or third party is authorized to demand any type of payment for the reconnection or installation of connectivity services.
Cantv, attached to the Ministry of People’s Power for Science and Technology, maintains efforts and articulates with State security agencies, in order to guarantee the provision of Aba fixed telephony and Internet services to users in residential and productive areas.
