Leoner Azuaje, allegedly involved in corruption within Cartones de Venezuela, was presented the same day as the hearing of Ysmel Serrano, former Vice President of Commerce of Pdvsa, and Salem Hassoun Atrach, linked to the Pdvsa Cripto plot
The prosecutor imposed by the extinct constituent assembly, Tarek William Saab, reported on the afternoon of this Thursday the 20th the suicide of Leoner Azuaje Urrea, who was presented at dawn on April 19 for his alleged involvement in acts of corruption within the company Cartones de Venezuela.
In its personal Twitter accountSaab explained that national prosecutors 50 and 67 were commissioned to investigate the death of Azuaje Urrea in his place of detention. He also said that the criminal unit of the Public Ministry was instructed to carry out the technical inspection, interviews and the autopsy together with the Cicpc.

Leoner Azuaje, allegedly involved in corruption within Cartones de Venezuela, was presented the same day of the hearing of Ysmel Serranoformer Vice President of Commerce of Pdvsa, and Salem Hassoun Atrach, linked to the Pdvsa Cripto plot.
The presentation hearing was held in a special court on Anti-Terrorism and Corruption, installed at the headquarters of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin) known as El Helicoide.
For alleged acts of corruption in Cartones de Venezuela, its former president, Hugo Cabezas, is also detained, and there are three other arrest warrants. According to data from prosecutor Saab, there have also been seven raids related to this plot.
