The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, referred to the anti-corruption operation carried out by the Venezuelan State and assured that the detainees are talking and revealing the scope of this plot.
“The detainees are talking and everything is adding up,” he said during his program Con el Mazo Dando, where he pointed out that among the investigations that are being carried out is the “real estate explosion” that was evidenced in the Baruta municipality, in the Las Mercedes area. .
“The municipal ordinance was changed and violating the rules authorized the construction of towers,” said the also deputy to the National Assembly, who announced that this “explosion” of constructions occurred in other municipalities.
He indicated that after the first arrests of some of those responsible in the case of the Baruta mayor’s office, accusations have been raised among those possibly involved or responsible for allowing these constructions.

He stressed that government officials who have been arrested for being involved in crimes of corruption “are not Chavistas” and urged those who hold public office to avoid the practice of theft of people’s assets and to benefit businessmen.
