Two Argentines are the new owners of Fimix Agrofinanzas

the signature Big Capital SRL (Fimix Agrofinance), registered as an investment advisor with the Central Bank of Uruguay (BCU), changed hands. In a relevant fact published by the Superintendency of Financial Services of the BCU, it was reported that Federico Morixe Mailhos and María Carolina Chifflet Pedragosa, former partners of the company, “celebrated a transfer” of their total share capital in said company.

According to the communication from the BCU, 1 social quota was transferred in favor of Damián Andrés Marizza (Argentine), while the remaining 99 social quotas were ceded in favor of Pedro Luis Viggiano, also of Argentine nationality. The latter will be the one that will have the administration and representation of the company.

Thus, since last February 3, 100% of Fimix’s social shares were assigned to Marizza and Viggiano. In the same communication, the withdrawal as partners of Morixe and Chifflet was notified.

On the other hand, the name of the company will become Big Capital SRL instead of Fimixaccording to the eighth clause of the agreement.

What does Fimix do?

The Fimix firm, according to its website, specializes in consulting and education in commodity markets and has offices in Montevideo and Paraguay.

It offers its clients market analysis and trading strategies to manage price risk and deal with volatility. It is also dedicated to providing financial education through training, in the form of workshops, conferences, exhibitions and constant monitoring. The company also makes customized commercial recommendations, based on an analysis of the reality of the physical grain market.

The company has an advisory, consulting and educational relationship with several of the brokers that operate in the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) – CME Group, the largest futures and options market in the world, mainly in grains, currencies and raw materials.

Morixe is a columnist for the program’s grain market Value added Radio Carve that is broadcast from Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. He has a degree in Agricultural Management and He was president of the Uruguay-Australia Chamber (CUA).
