A note from the Directorate of Issuance and Securities of that state entity issued by half officers de la Isla indicated that the new banknote “is already in circulation dated 2023.”
The information specifies that the banknote retains the main characteristics of previous issues, keeping the main motifs on the front and back, the BCC logo, and the signature of the current Minister President of the BCC, with his legend and the year, which appear printed in color. magenta.
However, unlike the previous banknote, the new one does not have relief to the touch and does not have a Braille code, a necessary element for the blind and visually impaired.

The Central Bank of Cuba made it clear that this new issue of the Cuban 100-peso bill will circulate simultaneously with the previous issues, which maintain their legal tender.
