A total of 12 irregular migrants were captured on the streets of the David district by the Chiriquí Regional Field Action Migration Section, in coordination with units of the Fourth Zone of the National Police.
Of those 12 migrants, eight are of Venezuelan origin (06 male, 01 female and 01 minor); which come from the flow from Darien.
The inspectors sent these migrants to the border area of Paso Canoas, so that they continue their transit through Central America.
During the operational action, 04 migrants with expired stay within the national territory were also detected; 03 are of Ecuadorian nationality (02 female and 01 male); and 01 Venezuelan. In these cases, the immigration units carried out the rigorous procedures, based on the immigration law.
