Conservatives and 'the U' will not vote on government health reform

The benches of the Conservative and ‘U’ parties announced that they will not vote on the health reform project presented by the Government.

“The benches of the Conservative Parties and La U are aware of the need for a Health Reform that saves lives, focused on the user and the well-being of Colombians,” read a statement.

In addition, they affirm that “they are NOT going to support the text of the health reform as the Government has presented it since all the proposals presented by our communities are not accepted”.

These are the 133 proposals that the conservatives and ‘the U’ had presented for which the debate was postponed for a week, but even so, the Government only accepted some of them and for the parties it was not enough.

It should be remembered that the votes of these two communities are key, because without them, the Executive’s project would have no lifeline.

Due to the above, “it seems that with the u and conservatives, they could postpone the commission,” congressmen affirm.
