The announced mobilization of various organizations in the country against the so-called “package” of laws and of the Public Manager was fulfilled during the morning of this Tuesday in at least four cities in the country.

Among the questioned bills are 280 on the fight against money laundering and 305 “on compliance with international commitments on human rights.”

It is so, for example, in Santa Cruz A multisectoral march, led by the Committee for Santa Cruz, traveled from the Plaza del Cementerio to the Plaza 24 de Septiembre despite the inclement weather due to the rain.

The president of the civic entity Fernando Larach ratified that this measure requires the definitive withdrawal of the questioned bills that the Government intends to approve in the Legislative Assembly.

“The Government has to listen to the people, for that it was elected”, remarked the leader. Likewise, former civic leader Rómulo Calvo was observed in the mobilization, who said that “the Bolivian people want to live in freedom and the impositions must be annulled.”

In peace A protest march was also staged, mainly made up of trade unions, which are led by the leader of El Alto Toño Siñani.

“We are now waiting for a national expansion and what happened today was a complete success because the union brothers, doctors, coca growers and all sectors have come to the demonstration,” he said.

Siñani assured that it was only a first measure of pressure because “the people are asking that the Government once and for all discard” what was questioned.

In the same way, in Potosi, Trade unions and other sectors took to the streets to march and the president of the Potosinista Civic Committee (Comcipo), Roxana Graz, called the government initiatives “lapidary”.

“We are taking to the streets to tell the Government: no to those laws that are lapidary, that go against freedom of expression, but we are also going out against the Public Manager and in favor of the (urban) teachers for a quality education ”, he indicated.

In Cochabamba, a similar protest measure led by various sectors occurred. The union leader Cesar Gonzales He pointed out that the mobilizations will continue until the “definitive archive” of the questioned bills.

We are going to enforce our “constitutional rights in the streets, but we want to clarify that we are not going to cover up for any union or any other person who becomes a millionaire overnight, we never did and we will not,” he emphasized.

Meanwhile, other protest marches were also announced for Tuesday afternoon in cities like Sucre and again in La Paz, but in the latter case led by teachers.
