Various sources attest to the death in Havana on Monday of the young Cuban meteorologist Carlos Manuel González Ramírez.

“With deep pain we regret the death, due to a heart attack, of the young meteorologist Carlos Manuel González Ramírez,” he published Monday in Facebook the program hello havana of the Havana Channel.

”Today is a gloomy day, a very dear friend passed away and will be greatly missed by friends and co-workers. Meteorological sciences have lost one of their strongest pillars: Carlos Manuel González Ramírez, president of the Cuban Meteorological Society, presenter of the Havana Channel, vice president of the Cuban Magazine of Meteorology”, he said in Facebook the profile of the Institute of Meteorology (INSMET).

The body fired the young scientist and stated: “all your colleagues and friends will remember you forever. One message cannot sum up our pain.”
