After seven years of searching and clashesthe Venezuelan police managed to kill Carlos Luis Revetebetter known as ‘koki’who directed a criminal gang that was named ‘Cota 905’ since they controlled the sector known by the same name, west of Caracas.
According to preliminary data, the Koki was killed The Sandbox of Las Tejerías in the state of Aragua After several confrontations in the middle of the operation known as Guaicaipuro II.
With the death of alias ‘Koki’ ends one of the chapters of organized crime in Venezuela that began in 2015 with the rise of Koki and his alliance with other criminals known as the Vampi, the Galvis and the Crazy Leo.
Later, in 2017, the truce that existed between the government and the criminals endedresulting in the entry of different weapons such as rifles, machine guns and even bazookas in several cities, including the capital, Caracas.
With the end of this truce there was also clashes between criminal groupswith clashes like the one recorded in july 2021 who left 26 people dead and 38 injured.
