This Friday, three individuals were arrested for illegally carrying firearms and possession of war ammunition at the Cúa passenger terminal, Rafael Urdaneta municipality in Miranda state.
According to the minutes, the officers attached to the Urdaneta Municipal Police Motorized Brigade were touring the facilities of the Cúa passenger terminal when they observed the thug trio with a strange attitude, for which reason they detained them to submit them to a body search.
One of the detainees was identified as Daiker Daniel Daniel González, 19, alias “El Chuito”, from whom they seized a koala-type bag containing 22 ammunition of war weapons (assault rifle) and a grenade. tear smoke. The second captured is Jesús Daniel Ibarra Castro (16), alias “El Gato”, who was carrying a facsimile of a firearm, industrially manufactured chrome-plated in calamine; and the third detainee is Yosbel David Landaeta Landaeta, 19 years old, who was carrying another firearm.
The detainees were placed under the order of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Valles del Tuy extension, whose agency will charge them before a Control Court in the Mirandina subregion.
The Municipal Police of Rafael Urdaneta indicated that those arrested are members of the Organized Crime Structured Group (GEDO) of the now deceased “Chuo Marrero”, who at the time presented an extensive judicial record and was killed after shooting with officials in Nueva Cúa, in November 2022. The gang had whipped the residents of the Sútil sector in the town of Cueña.
