Seven new detainees for the Pdvsa-Crypto plot are presented to the court

This Friday, in the early hours of the morning, they were presented before the special court on anti-terrorism and corruption seven new detainees in the case of the PDVSA-Crypto plot.

The new detainees by the National Police Against Corruption are:

01) Harold Rafael Sosa, Director of Municipal Engineering of the Mayor’s Office of Baruta.

02) Juan Carlos Posner Pimentel, Deputy Director of the Mayor’s Office of the Baruta municipality.

03) Álvaro Enrique Pulido Vargas, financial operator / Linked to Hugbel Roa.

04) Pedro Alejandro Herrera Araque, financial operator / Hugbel Roa’s brother-in-law.

05) Juan Manuel Almeida Morgado, technological operator of the Crypto – Pdvsa plot.

6) Jorge Luis Almeida Morgado, technological operator of the Crypto-PDVSA network.

07) Carlos Jesús Almeida Morgado, technological operator of the Crypto-PDVSA plot.

The information was provided by the Minister of Communication and Information, Freddy Ñáñez, who through his Twitter account provided the names of the detainees, along with a video showing the moment in which were brought before the court.

In the images you can identify six of the detainees in orange suits and handcuffed entering the Sebin Aeronautical Operations Coordination building.

Juan Manuel Almeida Morgado previously had a presentation hearing at a medical center where he was taken to protect his right to health.

Anti-corruption police have arrested 58 people

The National Police against Corruption adds 58 people arrested for his alleged connection to acts of corruption detected mostly in the oil industry. There have also been 161 raids.

The information was provided by the attorney general, Tarek William Saab, who wrote on his twitter account that there are 76 arrest warrants processed.
on the occasion of the Anti-Corruption Operation that began on March 17.

Of these 76 orders, 58 have been executed and 18 corresponding to the same
number of people investigated. Saab explained that there are five corruption schemes investigated: PDVSA-Cripto (53 detainees), Corporación Venezolana de Guayana (13), Cartones de Venezuela (3), the Judiciary (6) and mayors’ offices (1). Among the detainees is Antonio Pérez Suárez, whom the Public Ministry classifies as “the boss of the mafia in PDVSA.”

“BALANCE… fight #AntiCorruption #TODAY in the early morning hours will be #presented before the 2nd Court of Control #seven (7) new individuals linked to the PDVSA-Crypto plots… those who add up to now -together with the others detained for other cases- the figure of 58 detainees”, published the Prosecutor in his account on the social network.
