Congress announces the progress of 31 projects processed in three stages due to the security situation

From the former National Congress, the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Vlado Mirosevic (PL), together with the leader of the Senate, Juan Antonio Coloma (UDI), presented the progress of the legislative agenda for the security situation in the country , defining 31 bills that must be processed in three stages.

“There are major projects here, we know that not all the work is legislative, but at least in the legislative work we will do it quickly, efficiently and hopefully with the widest possible unity and these projects will be transformed into law,” the deputy added. liberal.

Among the initiatives that were carried out, is the cybersecurity project, critical information infrastructure, notification alternatives for administrative expulsions, regulations that modify conditional liberties, usurpation law, creation of the Ministry of Public Security, supraterritorial prosecutors, among others.

After presenting the progress, Deputy Eric Aedo (DC) pointed out to The counter that “I appreciate the announcement made by the president of the Senate, the Chamber of Deputies and the Government, to move decisively in the coming weeks on a security agenda that will mean around thirty projects”.

Along the same lines, the parliamentarian invited “all political sectors not to put personal tastes first, not to put the agendas of each party first, but to put the common good at the center, which today is expressed through a great agreement on public security in favor of Chileans”.
