This Thursday, the National Assembly (AN) approved the Draft Agreement for the sensitive death of the People’s Power Minister for University Education, Tibisay Lucena.
In this sense, the deputy Desirée Santos Amaral, addressed a few words in tribute to Dr. Tibisay Lucena, who stressed that the National Electoral Council (CNE), “has its mark, its tenderness and commitment, we will not be able to forget it. Tibisay Lucena was a woman of honor, who defeated hatred, that hatred that some want to position on social networks, she defeated it, as well as human misery.”
For his part, the president of the Venezuelan parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, praised the sustained work of Lucena in his political sphere even in the midst of his medical treatment and in the face of attacks from sectors of the extreme right.
“We had a fraudulent electoral system, where the dead voted and elected fraudulent governments, that ended with the Tibisay Lucena system. She worked so that those three million Venezuelans who could not vote had the right to an identity, to participate in the elections, because in the fourth, only the rich voted, ”she said.
In turn, he added that “we have to highlight how this heroine of the people fought for the defense of women, for the participation of women in electoral processes, even so, today they dare to attack, insult a woman who has given a fight for gender equality.
