Government says Viva Air would resume operations this month

The Minister of Transport, Guillermo Reyes, announced that the integration between Viva Air and Avianca would be ready by next week, and that this same month, Viva would resume operations.

The notification was given from San Andrés, where he called a meeting to discuss the crisis that has generated the suspension of airline operations.

“Our president has asked us to come and bring this message to the archipelago, to the islanders, natives, merchants and to all those who told us that they needed a government that would listen and help find solutions to the crisis of Viva and Ultra”explained the Minister of Transport.
