A team from the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism together with the Bolivarian National Guard and the Cicpc made a seizure of 89 copies of fauna exotic in the Colina sector of Parque Caiza, Sucre municipality of Miranda state.
The information was released yesterday by Minec on its instagram and detailed that the animals They were found illegally in cages in an apartment in a residence in the urbanization.
They specified that during the operation, carried out last Monday, they found six nymphal parrots, 16 Australian parakeets and 67 lovebirds.
They indicated that the specimens were confiscated and taken to the facilities of the Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda Recreational Park, in Caracas, where they will be cared for and provided with a natural habitat. However, they did not specify if there were people arrested or if they opened proceedings against any citizen.
