The Panamanian Federation of Amazonas, will have three high-level events and with an international category with the realization of the III International of Amazonas, the XXIV Meeting of Amazonas and VI Children’s – Youth Championship, from April 14 to 16, 2023 on the La Herradura track in Chitre, province of Herrera.
Delegations from Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Panama will meet at this event hosted by the Amazons of Herrera and with the support of the Panamanian Institute of Sports.
Estela Otero de Barrios, President of the Panamanian Federation of Amazonas, indicated that the best in the country will be in the competition and will also be able to demonstrate their skills against foreign rivals, in order to measure the level between them and reiterated the invitation to the public to enjoy a family event.
The activity will begin on April 14 with free ties and a ties league. On Saturday the 15th from 8:00 in the morning we will have the competitions of Polo Encounters (2 laps), Pre and Infant Polo, Youth and International (all at two laps).
There will also be competition in the afternoon with Barriles Encuentro, Barriles Pre and Infantil, Juvenil and Internacional (all in two laps) and the official opening acts from 6:00 in the afternoon, followed by dance activities.
Luis Denis Arce, General Director of Pandeportes, pointed out that the institution is committed to continuing to support all disciplines and on this occasion to the Amazons who have not stopped carrying out competitions that help economic recovery and put the country on the map sports.
On Sunday the Polo and Barrel competitions continue in the morning and from 4:00 in the afternoon the respective finals and awards ceremony.
