Industrial Fund will grant up to 23 million pesos for investment projects
The Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining opened its call for the 2023 edition of the Industrial Fund. The initiative of the National Directorate of Industries will deliver to each chosen project, in non-reimbursable funds, a total amount of up to 2.3 million pesos. Applicants must be members of purely industrial companies. Entries are received until August 2.
The national director of Industries, Susana Pecoy, announced a new call for the Industrial Fund which, in her opinion, “is the most important of the management”.
The call is open to all those purely industrial companies, he said, adding that it will benefit processes that involve expansion, productivity improvement, products or processes.
Among the requirements to apply, Pecoy explained that companies must be micro, small or medium; have a code number of the International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC); certify an age of more than one year after being incorporated, electronic address and be able to pay the counterpart (50% of the total amount of the project).
This year funds will be delivered for a total amount of up to 23 million pesos, he reported. “We had a budget reinforcement that allows us to expand the margin,” said Pecoy, adding that each selected project will be able to access up to a maximum of 2.3 million pesos.
Regarding the items included in this initiative, he mentioned that only three sectors are excluded: electronics and robotics, design, and biotechnology. These areas have their own funds, which will be launched soon, he announced.
The application period began on March 31 and will end on August 2, 2023 and the necessary information to register can be found in the Web page of the organism.
