The Ministry of Housing, together with the National Government, have ready the adjustments to access the “Mi Casa Ya” subsidy, which seeks to benefit more than 52,000 Colombian families.
The program is an initiative of the Government of Colombia that aims to facilitate access to their own home for low- and medium-income families.
Through this program, subsidies and benefits are offered to help families purchase a new or used home.

According to the decree, new applicants to the “Mi Casa Ya” program must be enrolled in Sisbén IV in groups A1 and C8 to receive a subsidy of 30 minimum monthly wages.
And in groups C9 and D20 to obtain 20 monthly minimum wages. It should be noted that this measure applies nationwide.
It was also established that the conditions required to receive the subsidies granted to the Family Compensation Funds, Governorships and Mayoralties will be maintained.
If the household meets the requirements, it may be a beneficiary of various subsidies.
However, the question that arises is whether the subsidies approved before the decree are preserved.
“Throughout 2023, a transition stage of Mi Casa Ya will take place in order to assign subsidies to families that already have approved credithave carried out their real estate business and meet the requirements of the program,” said Catalina Velasco, Minister of Housing.
On the other hand, as of this Monday, April 10, applicants for the program will be able to access the website of the Ministry of Housing to consult the process for the allocation of resources.
