A man was murdered at dawn on Sunday in a drug mouth that operated in the Villa Española neighborhood, reported Montevideo Portal and confirmed El Observador with sources from the Ministry of the Interior.
Around 00:45, the police were notified that shots were heard on Francisco Vázquez Cores & Suñer and Capdevilla streets. When they arrived, they were informed that there was an injured man inside a house.
Police found the man who was quickly taken to Pasteur Hospital. The victim was unconscious and with two gunshot wounds to the legs. After being treated at the hospital, his death was confirmed.
The Scientific Police and the Zone II Investigations area are working to elucidate the facts. The victim has not yet been identified.
