Units of the National Police through the National Anti-Drug Directorate apprehend a citizen of Dominican nationality in possession of illegal substances, after a raid carried out in the Paso Las Tablas neighborhood, located in the district of Santiago, province of Veraguas.
The police authorities confiscated 27 plastic bags and a transparent hermetic bag containing dry vegetable matter from the mentioned citizen, as well as a rectangular package with white powder.
Additionally, a metal shredder containing residue of vegetable matter that is presumed to be drugs, a wallet with various documents, two passports and a blue cell phone was located. The evidence and the suspect were placed under the orders of the judicial authorities to determine the responsibilities.
