Minister Ñáñez revealed that another 13 people were presented for alleged corruption

Three Zulian doctors accused of having caused the death of a patient due to malpractice arrested

The Minister of Communication and Information, Freddy Ñáñez, informed the early hours of this Wednesday, April 5, that the National Anti-Corruption Police presented 13 people for alleged crimes related to the corruption plot revealed within the administration of Nicolás Maduro and that generated the exit of Tareck El Aissami’s Ministry of Oil.

Next to a video where you can see the new detainees for the corruption plot, Ñáñez stressed that within the group is the former president of the CVG, Pedro Maldonado; the former president of Sidor; Nestor Astudillo; and the former governor of Trujillo and former director of the Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens (Saime), Hugo Cabezas.

Other detainees are Edgar Sánchez, Felipe Contreras, Lino Mora, Tulio Medina, Carlos Moreno, Johan Sequera, Isaac Mohamad, who also had their presentation hearing in the early hours of the morning.

According to the images, they would have been carried out at the headquarters of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin), although the minister did not clarify where it was carried out.
