The presidential candidate for free nomination, Francisco Carreira, dealt with various issues of national interest such as the situation in West Panama due to the lack of water, the law that allows mayors and representatives to choose salaries and how the collection of signatures for candidates for free postulation.
Carreira considers that there is a political immorality with the issue of mayors and representatives “this is wanting to continue profiting in an immoral way with what is not owed and for me that public position that I have, what I want is to keep the salary, if you You won an elective position, that’s your turn, nobody forced you to run for a position and I believe that the principle that we are establishing now is to favor the interests of a very minority group and hopefully the Supreme Court of Justice will touch to see this issue decide that this is completely unconstitutional.
