Deputy Manouchehri (PS) for advancement of the Nain-Retamal Law: “it was going to be perfected in the Senate, which is not happening”

The head of the bench of deputies of the Socialist Party (PS), Daniel Manuchehri, addressed the expectations of the community regarding the processing of the Nain-Retamal Law, which last night was dispatched from the Senate Security Commission to the Corporation Chamber. From the party it was expected that the indications of the Government would be approved, which did not happen.

Regarding the content of the project itself, the parliamentarian pointed out that as a minimum floor “if we want to get a good law, we must have the capacity to make the right to security compatible with unrestricted respect for human rights.”

In addition, the parliamentarian said that although the favorable vote of the party did not give a good image regarding some parts of the initiative that they considered perfectible, the bench responded to the government’s request to approve it.

“It is a project that we always said had to be perfected. That it was a project that lacked maturity. But nevertheless, we had to give the political signal to be able to approve this project, since there was an urgent citizen need for approval,” he said. Manouchehri.
