Two towns in Guarayos announce the Fish Fair for Easter

In order to make the Holy Week holidays productive, two towns in the Guarayos province: Ascensión and Yotaú, program the realization of the Fish Fair.

In both samples, the organization is in charge of the fish farmers in the region and municipal governments.

In the case of Ascensionthe fair in the capital of the province will be held on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 April.

“The first harvest of the macro project will be released for sale fish that benefits 15 communities”said Yasminca Muztafá, director of the Directorate of Productive Development of the Municipal Government of Ascension.

In addition to the sale of raw fish of the pacú and surubí species, there will also be a variety of dishes, such as fish soup, baked and grilled fish, “pescau sudau” and chicharrón de pescado, as explained by the official.

For his part, the fair in Yotaupopulation located 40 kilometers from Ascension on the highway to Santa Cruz and belonging to the municipality of El Puente, it will be friday the 6thin the main square.

“There the direct fish will be offered from the producer to the consumer, both per kilo and prepared”, reported Jesús Ovando Díez, president of the Yotaú Fish Farmers Association.
