The Civic Committee for the department of La Paz requested the resignation of Governor Santos Quispe, this after the authority faces justice for the case of the beer cans found in his office.
The civic representatives announced that they will request reports of the works carried out to date to know the progress of the work of the departmental authority.
The president of the civic entity, Clemente Gutiérrez, recalled that Quispe is not only being investigated for the events recorded last Tuesday night, when he was found in his office with beer cans; but he is also being investigated for a crash that took place in the South zone and that was carried out by a vehicle from the Government.
In the latter case, it is presumed that the authority was intoxicated, although he has repeatedly denied this.

“His position has weighed heavily on him, he is making the same mistakes, therefore, for moral reasons, he should make the decision to leave the position of the Governor,” said the civic representative.
On the decision of the justice, which determined house arrest with the right to work and roots for Quispe, Gutiérrez commented that they are not satisfied.
“We hope that the Departmental Assembly can carry out the corresponding inspection and the corresponding appeal,” he requested.
Gutiérrez announced that the Departmental Assembly, the judge and the prosecutor will be monitored. “We are going to follow up until the steps and the sentence are handed down,” he indicated.
At a press conference, the representative denounced that Quispe does not comply. “Works and projects of the previous Governor Félix Pátzi are being abandoned, they are not supervised, therefore there is no management”, he said.
He announced that he will request reports of works and projects executed and in development.
