Ediles of the Departmental Board of Rocha with “sopapo” and accusations

The mayor Miguel Sanguinetti, of the National Party, attacked the mayor Gustavo Hereo (FA) with words and with “a slap on the neck”. This violent act occurred during the debate regarding the purchase of land.

The session of the Departmental Board last Tuesday had among its points voting on the purchase of land to build a passenger terminal in Lascano.

It seems that in commission the FA voted in favor of the purchase of the property, and in the session the leftist bench voted against it.

The angry nationalist Sanguinetti lashed out with “a slap on the neck” against Hereo who used those words when referring to physical aggression. In turn, another mayor of the FA said that Sanguinetti was drinking whiskey in the room.

Apologies

The nationalist mayor, Sanguinetti, said he was sorry for his violent action, which was without thinking and clarified that he was not drunk. This was stated to the digital media Rochaaldía. He also said that he was going to speak with Hereo before speaking further on the subject.
