The Public Ministry (MP) reported on the apprehension of Jackeline Perico and José Lima, attached to the Executive Directorate of Production of the Orinoco Oil Belt, for their participation in the acts of corruption of the plot PDVSA-Crypto.
The information was released, through his account on the social network Twitter, by the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saabwho specified that both citizens will be charged for their participation in these acts of corruption.
“The MP reports the apprehension of Jackeline Perico and José Lima attached to the Executive Directorate of Production of the Orinoco Oil Belt, who will be charged with acts of corruption where they appear as participants in the PDVSA – CRIPTO plot”, published the Attorney General .
The detainees will be charged for their participation in acts of corruption in the state-owned Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) and the National Superintendency of Cryptoactives (Sunacrip).
Prosecutors appointed to investigate CVG case
Likewise, Saab reported that to investigate the events that occurred in the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana (CVG), prosecutors 50, 67 and 73 nationals with full jurisdiction were appointed.
Similarly, he confirmed that the Public Ministry remains firm in the fight against corruption.
“The MP reports the appointment of prosecutors 50, 67 and 73 Nationals with Full Jurisdiction, to investigate the serious events that occurred in the CVG. The Public Ministry ratifies its commitment to the relentless fight against Corruption. Justice,” he said on Twitter.
National Police against corruption
The National Police against Corruption began this Thursday the second phase of the operation “Caiga who falls”as part of the actions promoted by the National Government to deal with this scourge in public and private institutions and companies.
Through a statement, security officials indicated that this operation includes the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana (CVG).
It should be remembered that on March 17, the National Police anti-corruption began a series of investigations and arrests of officials and businessmen linked to acts of corruption in state companies.
More than 20 people have been detained for these events, of which 19 have already been brought before the courts.
Citizens, including judges, public officials and businessmen, are deprived of their liberty.
