Operation "Whoever Falls Falls" reached the CVG

The National Police against Corruption The second phase of the operation “Caiga quien caya” began this Thursday, as part of the actions promoted by the National Government to deal with this scourge in public and private institutions and companies.

Through a statement, security officials indicated that this operation includes the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana (CVG).

For this reason, they indicated that they also initiated the corresponding request to the Public Ministry for “the legal prosecution of a group of officials and businessmen who, violating the sacred oath of honesty and ethics, could be involved in serious acts of administrative corruption and embezzlement. Of funds”.

The operation was carried out after the investigations carried out by the National Executive, as well as the statements provided by the criminal network in the case. called PDVSA-Crypto.

It should be remembered that, in the latter, more than 20 people are in custody, of which 19 have already been brought before the courts.

Citizens, including judges, public officials and businessmen, are deprived of liberty.

“We inform the people that, as a result of the rigorous investigations and the statements made by the criminal gang that is being prosecuted, today the second phase of the special operation “Caiga quien caiga” was carried out in the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana ( CVG)”, emphasizes the text.

“We will not stop at the duty to confront the scourge of corruption and punish in an exemplary manner those who commit these criminal acts, whoever they are responsible for,” they add.

The National Police Against Corruption, following the instructions of the Head of State Nicolás Maduro Moros, continues to produce results in this relentless fight against corruption and moral decomposition, undertaken by the Bolivarian Government in all areas of national life. In this sense, we inform the people that, as a result of the rigorous investigations and the statements made by the criminal gang that is being prosecuted, today the second phase of the special operation “Caiga quien Caiga” was carried out in the Venezuelan Corporation of Guyana (CVG). As a result of this, we have initiated a new request to the Public Ministry for the judicial prosecution of a group of officials and businessmen who, violating the sacred oath of honesty and ethics, could be involved in serious acts of administrative corruption and embezzlement, in clear action harmful against the patrimony of the Nation and the sacred interests of the Venezuelan people.

We reiterate our willingness to comply with the instructions to combat and prosecute these despicable crimes against the Republic.

We will not stop at the duty of confronting the scourge of corruption and punishing in an exemplary manner those who commit these criminal acts, whoever they are responsible for.
