The mayor of San Miguelito, Héctor Carrasquilla, in an interview with Radio Panama spoke about different issues that affect the district, mainly garbage collection, which is a recurring theme due to poor waste collection.
«My comments do not revolve around making Revisalud the villain, but rather making Revisalud analyze and think that we have to rethink strategies in garbage collection, we as an authority go out to work jointly with the community, to collect the garbage, the authority are not just to give instructions and historically since I was mayor in 1986 I have been developing this garbage collection plan, but it is not doing it for the sake of doing it, because we educate the population and we are going to work as a team.” detailed Carrasquilla.
