The Chinese ambassador to Venezuela, Li Baorong, completed his diplomatic work in the country on Monday, March 27. The information was provided by Nicolás Maduro in a speech from the Miraflores Palace accompanied by the executive train.
In his parting words, Maduro pointed out that China has witnessed the alleged attacks by “imperialist hegemonism and continuous aggression. This has served the Chinese people to learn first-hand how our people have bravely and dignifiedly resisted the 900 coercive actions.”

Baorong expressed that during the five years of his mission he has participated in the consolidation and development of the China-Venezuela strategic association, despite the multiple challenges due to momentous changes, “never seen before in a century in the face of constant threats.”
“We have worked together and in coordination implementing important consensus of the two leaders, so we have achieved great success in bilateral win-win cooperation,” said the Chinese ambassador.
