The province of Colón will host the National Senior Women’s Softball Championship to be held from March 27 to April 2, at the new Escobal Sports Complex, which will host the matches of this interesting tournament that brings together the best players in the country.
Ten teams have confirmed their attendance to the contest that will be distributed in two groups, located in A will be: Los Santos (current champion), Panama Metro, Herrera, Veraguas and Darién.
In group B are: Colón, Chiriquí, Panamá Oeste, Coclé and Bocas del Toro.
Competition format.
The 3 best teams of each group that will play a round of all against all (6 teams) qualify, to determine the semifinalists (1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3). The winners will play the final and the losers will play for third place. The 4 teams eliminated in the group stage will play the Consolation Round for positions 7, 8, 9 and 10.
