On this Sunday morning, the Archbishop of Santa Cruz, Monsignor René Leigue, called on believers to feel free to express and say what they feel and think.

Under this reflection, he gave an example of what is currently happening with urban teachers who protest in the streets. “Teachers cry out because They raise their salaries and they are not listened tothey are mistreated,” he questioned.

For Leigue, that, the freedom to express oneself, is what is lacking in society, and today the teachers are suffering, who cry out for something that corresponds to them.

“They also cry out because they want a good education for children and young people. They want life, to accompany the young, they are not asking for anything else. And yet, she mistreats them. It would seem that we did not leave
that shell, the eyes that cannot see further are blindfolded”, he alluded.

As Christian followers of Jesus, the prelate said that it is necessary to be sensitive to the needs of others.
