Torrijos: “I have no doubt that with the Popular Party, we are going to restore everyone’s hope”

Former President Martín Torrijos expressed that we need unity and decency to straighten the destinies of Panama.

The statements by former President Torrijos were made during the Jorge “Fulo” Flores Extraordinary National Congress, held by the Popular Party in Panama City.

“It is Panama that summons us, it is the Panamanian families that demand effort, work, commitment and patriotism from us,” said Torrijos.

He stated that we need unity in responsibility and decency to straighten the destinies of Panama.

“We need all the political, social, cultural and economic forces, with the same channel, a rebirth with hope, with real changes and with a future more in line with their efforts,” said Torrijos.

Torrijos affirmed that “2024 is a crucial appointment, we will go to it with the certainty that a new stage will begin there, solidarity and detachment, with transparency and principles, with new institutions and a new policy that generates confidence and optimism.”

“I have no doubt that with the Popular Party, we are going to recover everyone’s hope, we are going with optimism, with our people and with all the social forces to recover our Panama,” he concluded.
