The coordinator of the Cundinamarca Department Fire Department, Captain Álvaro Farfán, reported that this Friday afternoon there were emergencies in the municipalities of Gachancipá, Guasca and La Calera as a result of heavy rains.
Rescuers alerted the community floods, collapse in sewers, landslides, falling trees and high tension cables.
The most affected municipality was La Calera at the height of the Tilatá sector where a partial closure of the road was carried out, with passage through one lane, with priority in the Los Patios – La Calera direction. However, there was high traffic in the area.

Due to the above, the Secretariat of Mobility of Bogotá informed that: As a preventive measure, starting at 10:00 p.m., the total closure of the via La Calera at the height of the Tilatá sector. Emergency agencies monitor road conditions to re-enable traffic in the area.
Due to the novelty, users of the corridor via La Calera are recommended to take the alternate route Carrera 7 with Calle 187 C, El Codito sector, via La Cabaña.
