The Ministry of Health reported that this Sunday 1,062 new infections by Covid-19 were registered, in addition 21 deaths were reported due to the virus. With these new positives, the country has accumulated 872,811 cases since the start of the pandemic.
The official report indicates that Santa Cruz registered the highest number of new infections, with 357 positives; La Paz, 347; Cochabamba, 166; Potosi, 72; Beni, 44; Chuquisaca, 35; Oruro, 29; Tarija, eight; Panda, four.

In the last 24 hours, 4,506 people have overcome the virus, for a total of 724,828 recovered. Meanwhile, active cases amount to 126,833.
The report indicates that with the 21 deaths registered this Sunday, the deaths registered since March 2020 amount to 21,150. The fatality rate in this fourth wave is 0.6%.
